 Ideally situated in the heart of Patna City, within the Patna Airport premises, BIA is one of the prime training institute in the Eastern as well as North Eastern location of India which is serving the Civil Aviation Industry by providing highly qualified and hands-on experienced AME technocrats. The roaring of Aircraft Engine and the very sound of Aircraft take-off and landing are the sole source of inspiration for the aspirant AMES who are undergoing training in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
One of the primary Institutions to promote Aviation Awareness amongst the new aspirants and move forward towards progressive development, with the changing of time and technology to prove the survival of the fittest, BIA is equipped with all variety of modern technologies such as computer aided class room lecture delivery, audio visual fabulous and well maintained library back up, different variety of aircraft and equipment model to make the students to understand the three dimensional aspects .
 Recently, a pressurized fully operational Hawker Siddley HS-125 aircraft has been imported from Mexico. The inspection and purchase was fully supervised by our experts, Mr. C.K. Singh, Director IIA, Mr. Rahul Ranjan Singh, Director JRNIAT & Mr. R.P. Srivastava, Director BIA at Mexico. The aircraft assembly groud run up & system check was done by BIA technical experts certified & trained under Mexican Aircraft Engineers at Patna. The Aircrafts arrival ennobles the focused vision of IIA group in providing best & unparalleled infrastructure to the students in the scenario of Aviation Colleges. Imparting quality training, and producing the technical manpower with adequate technical knowledge, deep sense of responsibility and safety consciousness.  Within the Patna Airport premises, BIA possessing its own Aircraft Maintenance hangar to accommodate one complete Bonanza A35 aircraft fitted with modern Piston Engine, with full range of maintenance facilities and maintenance practices, such as sectionized view of engines and equipment for deep understanding of working principles, different well advanced practical shops in the green landscape. For the character development and self confidence of the students, BIA conducts group discussion, debates and for the Physical development there is a provision of different games such as Volley Ball, Cricket and Badminton. The Institute is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India and always makes enormous effort to uplift the standard of technical aids and providing the best result oriented activities. It has been already proved by the DGCA exam result that this Institution is leading a primary role in Civil Aviation Industry because most of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers who are serving in different Airlines are the product of this Divine soil. |
| SCOPE OF APPROVAL The institute is having approval in the following categories: Aeroplane & Powerplant (Heavy Aircraft, Light Aircraft, Piston Engine, Jet Engine) and Avionics (Electrical System,Instrument System and Radio Navigation).
