Bharat Institute of Aeronautics, Patna is the only institute in Bihar which is consistently making its efforts to ensure the maximum participation of youth of Bihar as an AME in the Airlines Industry through high standard of AME training.

For that BIA, Patna, has inducted one Heavy pressurized Aircraft Hawker HS-125 fitted with Twin Turbojet Engine with all the system operational including Avionics exclusively for AME training as per new regulations of Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. Mr. Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister Bihar, invited as a Chief Guest for the inaugration of AME Programme covering Heavy aircraft fitted with turbine engine.
